The construction of Xiamen's first modern institute devoted to classical Chinese culture has been completed. The Yundang Institute, located in Bailuzhou Park in southeast China's coastal city of Xiamen, will open to the public this November, Xiamen Economic Daily reports.

As a public welfare program, the public facility will be a place where one can read classic Chinese literature as well as learn traditional calligraphy or ancient musical instruments. Trainings and forums will also be held in the Yundang Institute about China's traditional culture, according to Wang Weisheng, general manager of the construction company.
